Ice Cream & Firefighters

Man o man this seems like a really random post, but I do love ice cream and am so grateful for the people who are willing to run into burning buildings, so I can’t resist.

My partner’s uncle is a Fire Captain, so her aunt always keeps us in the loop about everything firefighter-related.  Today she sent an email about 31 cent night at Baskin-Robins.  Here is the info from the official web site:

Join us for 31 Cent Scoop Night at Baskin-Robbins® and help us honor America’s firefighters with a $100,000 donation to the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) National Junior Firefighter Program.

Participating stores will reduce prices of small ice cream scoops to 31 cents*. At some locations, you may also have an opportunity to make a donation to local fire charities.

So enjoy some ice cream this evening, Wednesday, April 29 from 5-10pm, and support and honor our firefighters.

…and don’t forget to make your reservation for Dine Out for Life tomorrow, April 30, to benefit local AIDS service organizations.

Happiness and ice creamy goodness to all! ♥

  1. Getting ice cream and helping firefighters…that’s a fantastic deal. Heck, I’d be willing to pay full price for a Baskin Robbins ice cream cone to help firefighters. Helping the firefighters would just be the cherry on top.
